1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StudiesTimer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

StudiesTimer provides:

• Study timer and session tracking
• Goal setting and progress tracking
• Study groups and social features
• Statistics and analytics
• Premium subscription features

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others’ intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create fake accounts or manipulate data
• Scrape or copy content without permission

5. Premium Subscriptions

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer the following premium plans:

• Weekly: Available through the mobile app and billed weekly
• Monthly: Billed monthly, cancel anytime
• Yearly: Billed annually, cancel anytime
• Lifetime: One-time payment, lifetime access

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew at the interval shown before purchase until cancelled. Web purchases are processed by Stripe. Purchases made in a StudiesTimer mobile app are processed by the app store you buy through, under the store account and price shown on the purchase sheet.

5.3 Three-Day Free Trial

Eligible first-time web subscribers may receive a three-day free trial of Monthly or Yearly Premium. A valid card is required through Stripe, but no subscription fee is charged when the trial starts. Unless you cancel before the displayed trial end date, Stripe will charge the introductory or standard plan price shown at checkout and the subscription will renew at the interval and price disclosed there. We send a confirmation email when the trial starts and schedule an email reminder approximately 24 hours before the first charge.

Mobile trial and introductory-offer eligibility, duration, and price are determined by the app store you buy through and are displayed in the app and on the store purchase sheet before you confirm.

5.4 Cancellation

Cancel a web subscription through Settings → Subscription and the Stripe billing portal. A subscription bought in a mobile app is cancelled in the subscription settings of the app store you bought it through. Deleting the app or your StudiesTimer account does not by itself cancel an app-store subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.5 Refund Policy

Direct web purchases: For eligible monthly and yearly purchases processed by Stripe, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase by contacting support.

App store purchases: The app store you bought through administers refund requests under its own terms and applicable law. StudiesTimer cannot issue a store refund directly.

Lifetime access: A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable licence rather than a recurring subscription. Refund availability depends on the payment channel and applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of StudiesTimer are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without our express written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create, including study data, shared profiles, and study-group messages. By using our service, you grant us a licence to store, display, process, and moderate that content as needed to provide and protect the service.

You are responsible for your content and must have the necessary rights to share it. Content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, illegal, spam, or infringing is prohibited.

Users can report messages and block other users in the app. We may review reports and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or preserve evidence where necessary for safety or law enforcement. Blocking immediately hides that user’s group-chat content from the blocker.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• At our sole discretion for any reason

You may delete your account at any time through Settings in the app or website, or request deletion at studiestimer.com/delete-account. Account deletion and store-subscription cancellation are separate actions.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That defects will be corrected
• That the service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Any specific results from using the service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Business interruption
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of your jurisdiction.
