Ask for practice, not just an answer
A study helper is more useful when it asks you to do the thinking. Try one question at a time, explain your answer, then ask for feedback and another example. The prompt builder above helps structure that request; it does not generate an AI answer or spend credits.
Turn a topic into flashcards or a quiz
Keep each flashcard focused on one concept. For a quiz, request questions at the difficulty of your course and ask for explanations after attempting them. Check generated material against course notes, textbooks or official mark schemes before relying on it.
Understand AI credits before generating
Free accounts include ten monthly AI credits. Different actions can have different costs; check the in-app credit cost and current pricing for additional capacity. The public prompt builder is free and does not use credits. Signing in opens your existing helper workspace.
Use AI responsibly for schoolwork
AI may invent details, misunderstand a question or produce a plausible but incorrect explanation. Do not upload sensitive personal information. Follow your institution’s rules on AI assistance and use generated material to support practice, not to misrepresent someone else’s work as your own.
Take your study timer to iPhone and iPad
StudiesTimer is now available on the App Store. Use Pomodoro, countdown or stopwatch sessions on your phone, then sign in with the same account to keep saved study time, streaks and groups together with the website.
Home Screen widgets show today's study total, and a Live Activity keeps the running timer on your Lock Screen. The app requires iOS 17 or later. Android is coming soon; the web timer works in your browser today.
Build your study workflow
Plan what to study, focus on one block, then use your recorded time to adjust the next week.
